Gilbert H. Jacobson, an attorney, provides fundraising consulting and strategic planning services for not-for-profit and charitable organizations, foundations, and philanthropists.
For ten years he served as the Associate Director of the Planned Giving and Foundation Relations Department at the Council of Jewish Federations (CJF).
He was also the Associate Director of the Department of Planned Giving & Endowments at UJA-Federation of New York. He has over twenty-five years of experience helping nonprofit organizations develop legacy, endowment, and planned giving programs.
While at CJF, he was part of a small team that successfully had federations refocus their endowment program efforts from donor advised funds to bequests, permanent endowment fund gifts, supporting foundations, and life income plans.
He currently serves as the National Director of Planned Giving for the American Friends of Bar-Ilan University.
Gil and his wife reside in Passaic, New Jersey. They are the parents of six children.
